Abu and Meaza are growing like crazy, keeping us busy and continuing to fill our lives with much joy. Tomorrow they will be 16 months old. Meaza still outweighs Abu by about pound and he's still about 2 inches taller than her. She started walking about a month ago and he followed about 2 weeks later. This new mobility adds new challenges as we try to keep up with them. Luckily they are still taking 2 naps a day so we have short pockets of time each day when we can try to get a few things done and recover for the next round.
Last weekend we were thrilled to see the Laughlin's at a CHSFS-East function with Abshiro Kids. They all looked great and it was fun to share Abu and Meaza with them. At the function, Abu was especially smitten with the beautiful Ethiopian who first did a coffee ceremony and later lead the kids in a couple Ethiopian dances. He and Meaza both love to dance - we are just waiting for them to start rolling their shoulders!
